If you like a fresh dose of underground electronic music, somewhere in that left field where music is often labeled as IDM, electronica, rave, jungle, drum’n’bass, drone, ambient etc., I have a new podcast/online radio station for you!
Audiointerface.org is an independent online radio station, broadcasting shows live and making those shows available on Mixcloud and your favorite podcast app.
Right now there are 2 shows, both presented by Pete Xylander, but there might be more coming in the future. You can pitch your own ideas for a show if you fancy joining in the fun too. Just check out the website to find out how.
If you like beats in your electronic music, check out the Forgotten Futures show. There’s a new episode available every Sunday, with fresh new tracks every week. Expect some good IDM-ish tracks, jungle, rave, and a dash of harder beats now and then (check out the episode of the 15th of December for example, with a track by yours truly wink wink).
If you like it more chill (well, sort of), check out the Disturbing Dreams show. It’s full of dark ambient and drone music, so that might not be something to listen to while you’re trying to take a nap. Maybe that’s where the show title comes from?
Anyway, whatever you fancy, there’s something new to explore here. In the show comments on the site, you’ll also find links to the songs and artists you heard. A great way to find some new music by (often) independent underground artists.
