Introducing the New DJcity Classic Club Edits
DJcity’s Classic Club Edits playlist is now available!
Our in-house production team has gone into the lab to bridge the gap between yesterday’s greatest hits and today’s club standards. The ultimate goal? To give you an updated version so powerful and pristine that you permanently replace your original files with these new essentials.
The Anatomy of a Classic Club Edit
✦True to the Original (With Added Punch)
We always stay true to the original vibe of the record, but we layer at least one new drum element into the mix. This gives every anthem a modern, punchy sound that hits hard on today’s club systems while preserving the soul of the original.
✦
Full, Mixable, DJ-Ready Versions
We use the full song (no short edits). To make them perfectly mixable, every edit features a quantized 8-bar intro and a 16-bar outro. We also incorporate an interesting, dramatic drop at the beginning of the intro to instantly grab the crowd’s attention.
✦
Crisp Remastering & Energy Boosts
Every song is completely remastered. If a track needs a little more energy, we’ll even increase the BPM to bring it up to modern club standards.
